Radiology and scanning Radiology is the medical field concerned with medical imaging technologies to diagnose and treat diseases. Initially it was limited to only x-rays (discovered by Roentgen) but the modern radiological imaging also includes high frequency sound waves magnetic field and radioactivity. It has different forms; Projection radiography Fluoroscopy and angiography CT (computed tomography) scanning Ultrasound MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) Nuclear Medicine imaging
